Everything You Need To Know About our WATT MICROBLADING Eyebrow Treatment
'Microblading is all about creating the best shape for your face – a totally bespoke approach for each client,'
This cosmetic procedure fills sparse patches, making scanty brows look seriously sharp.
Our Microblading technicians use a disposable hand tool that creates such fine hair strokes, it looks like real hair growing from the skin. The tool they use gradually dispenses medical grade pigment down the tiny line of needles and underneath the skin. The needles are very fine and implant featherweight strokes on the epidermis creating those fine, realistic and natural hair strokes. The process is very precise thanks to the tool that is used which is effectively like a pen with the nib being a sloped blade with 10-12 little needles at the end - needles that don’t penetrate the skin but just delicately scratch the surface, much like a paper cut.
Like all cosmetic procedures, the amazing results speak for themselves.
'Microblading, unlike tattooing, is not in the deep layer of skin, but more on the surface. This is also not permanent, and the colour fades within 18 months.
Compared to microblading's super precise, individual hair look, microshading has a much softer finish. Think of it like using a brow pencil compared to a brow powder or pomade. Where microblading tattoos hair-like strokes in your existing brows, microshading tattoos tiny dots along your brows for a less defined finish.
Not sure which technique is for you? Fear not, because our technicians can combine both methods to create the most realistic and natural finish for you
In your consultation we will decide on the best shape for your face.
You are welcome to bring in images of the style of brow you like, or come in with the brow make up you normally wear on a day to day basis – and together we can determine the colour and shape for you
Any questions you may have will be answered at consultation. All information on the process will be discussed.
It is very important to know and understand that brows will be up to 40% darker in shade for the first 7-10 days during the healing process where scabs can form and flake off. Clients can sometimes leave the salon, and two days later be terrified that their brows are too dark, but please be patient – as this is totally normal! After 7-10 days, you will begin to see the final colouring.'
Watt Microblading post-care is very important to the appearance and longevity of your new eyebrows.
DAY 1 ( DAY OF TREATMENT)
2-3 hours after treatment, gently clean the area with a very small amount of sterile water ( boiled , cooled water ) on a cotton pad.
This should be just barely damp, not wet. Also, apply a very thin breathable layer of the after care ointment we supply
This is a gentle cream which assists in the skin’s natural healing process. It will prevent infections and scabbing and will hydrate and soothe the tattooed area.
Do this every two hours today to avoid build-up of blood/lymph on the area.
DAY 2 & 3
You can stop wiping your brows with sterile water now. Continue to apply a small amount of the ointment every few hours at least 4 times each day on days 2 and 3.
Do not use aggressive movement/manipulation of the skin – be gentle. Make sure your hands are clean before touching your brows.
Continue to use the aftercare ointment for 14 days post-treatment, using less as the days go on.
